This hardhat can be used with 3M™ Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) or Supplied Air Respirator Systems. It is designed for welding operations which must have industrial protective headgear. It has an assigned protection factor of 25 x PEL.

Features:

The L-700 hardhat series (L-701, L-703 and L-705) is identical to the L-500 Series with the exception that a hardhat shell which meets ANSI requirements for industrial protective headgear is used in lieu of the “bumpcap”.
These systems also rely on a faceseal around the face, and, therefore, are classified as a loose fitting facepiece
The APF for this product series is 25 x PEL
