3/32" E80T1-Ni1 Esab® Dual Shield 88-C3 Low Alloy Flux Core Welding Wire 60# Coil

Dual Shield Arc 88-C3 is a flux cored wire developed to deposit weld metal with impact toughness as low as - 40°F(-40°C). The weld metal meets high X-ray standards for soundness. The arc is stable and deeply penetrating. The thin cover of slag is easily removed, exposing flat to slightly convex weld beads. Horizontal fillet welds are slightly convex with equal leg lengths.

Application:

Dual Shield 88-C3 wire is recommended for welding high strength steels in the 70-80 ksi(483-552 MPa) tensile range. The weld metal analysis is similar to an E8018-C3 low hydrogen electrode.
