NS-102 (ER80S-D2/ER90S-G) is a higher Mn-Si deoxidized wire than NS-101 with 0.50% Mo added for the welding of certain steels where the tensile strength of NS-101 is inadequate (such as low-alloy 4130 steel). Similar gases to NS-101 can be used, but maximum properties are obtained using Argon/CO2.
