Airgas Increases Quarterly Dividend by 13%
RADNOR, PA – May 19, 2009 -- Airgas, Inc. (NYSE: ARG) today announced that the Board of Directors increased the quarterly cash dividend on the company’s common stock to $0.18 per share from $0.16. The dividend will be payable June 30, 2009 to shareholders of record as of June 15, 2009.
“This dividend increase is a way to reward our shareholders in a tough environment,” commented Airgas Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter McCausland. “We are fortunate that Airgas’ strong cash flow supports this action and allows us to continue to pursue our growth strategies in this challenging economy.”
