- Harris® 6290-VVC Size 5.5 is a two-piece, propane/natural gas, chrome-plated machine cutting tip. It cuts up to 10 in. thick plate at a cutting speed of 4 in. per minute (I.P.M.) and requires 90 PSIG of cutting oxygen, 30 - 40 PSIG low-high oxygen preheat and 4 oz. - 2 PSIG of preheat fuel. This tip has a 600 SCFH cutting oxygen flow rate, 50 - 100 SCFH low preheat oxygen flow rate, 20 SCFH propane flow rate or 50 SCFH natural gas flow rate for cutting metals. The approximate kerf is .25 in. Best when used with Harris machine cutting torch model 98-6F.

Caution
- Use next size larger tip with same PSIG for contour or intricate cutting
- For thin plate cutting, use a highly carburizing preheat flame
- Cutting oxygen pressures should be measured at torch entry
- When using two hose machine torches, set oxygen pressure at cutting oxygen PSIG listed
