- Hougen® Holcutter™ 1 1/8 Carbide Hole Cutter has 1/8 maximum depth of cut and features rugged construction for day in and day out use. Cutter has 3/8 shank and it includes a shoulder which prevents plunge-thru, that is especially useful when drilling into live electrical boxes. Carbide tips provide long tool life and smooth cutting action and it dramatically outlast bi-metal holes saws and step drills.
