Item Details

  • voestalpine Böhler Welding 6820 Stainless Steel Stick Electrode measuring 5/32" X 16" easily forms a chromium-oxide layer and acts as a constant buffer against further corrosion of the underlying metal. Stainless steel electrode is an iron-base alloy with a minimum of 11% chromium content that is uniformly dispersed throughout the metal. It offers a stable arc and allows lightweight slag removal. Stick electrode features finely ripped bead surface without any undercuts and operates up to 750 deg C. Electrode is associated with E308H-16 AWS classification. It comes in a 10 lb box.

Features

  • Bohler FOX E 308 H was specially formulated for the 304 H base material
  • Resistant to hot cracking and little tendency to embrittlement through controlled ferrite content (3-8FN) scale resistant
  • Very good welding in all positions except for vertical down
