ESAB® Dual Shield® II 70T-12H4 Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of .045" Dia offers smooth arc and low spatter levels characteristic. It provides excellent low temperature toughness in both the as welded and/or stress relieved conditions when used with 75% Ar/25% CO2. Wire can produce diffusible hydrogen levels of less than 4 mL/100g over a wide range of welding parameters. All-position flux cored wire can efficiently produce Charpy V-Notch impact results of more than 50 ft lb at -60 deg F and crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) results of more than 20 Mils at -40 deg F. Weld metal analysis is similar to E7018. Areas of application include construction heavy equipment fabrication offshore oil components shipbuilding and railcar. Wire designed for applications requiring outstanding weld metal toughness is associated with E71T-1MJ H4 E71T-9MJ H4 E71T-12MJ H4 class of wires and comes in a spool of 33 lb.
