Item Details

  • TRI-MARK® TM-711 Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 1/16" Dia produces smooth weld beads with uniform fusion and is ideal for all position welding. Rutile-type, flux-cored wire withstands cracking in severe applications and gives low diffusible hydrogen weld deposit. Wire featuring fast freezing slag combines excellent operator appeal with mechanical properties and reduces the risk of underbead cracking. It gives a soft quiet arc featuring nearly no spatter that produces a weld deposit with diffusible hydrogen levels typically less than 5 ml/100 g needed by MIL-E-24403/1. Wire with low fume generation rate increases operator appeal while improving the working environment. It helps to reduce clean-up time and has great CVN impact values. It is associated with E71T-1C/12CJ H8 class of wires and is used in single as well as multiple pass applications with CO2. Wire comes in a spool of 33 lb and is used in industries like shipbuilding, pressure vessel fabrication as well as structural welding. This wire has to be stored in a dry, enclosed environment and in its original intact packaging.
