- Kobelco PREMIARC™ DW-G308L Stainless Steel Tubular Welding Wire, 0.045" AWS A5.22 E308LT0-1/4 Gas Shielded, Flux Cored, Rutile All Position General Use Thin Gauge Materials. Designed for flat and horizontal welding of austenitic stainless steel. High resistance to intergranular corrosion, which comes from its low carbon content weld metal. Excellent performance with either 75%Ar-25%CO2 gas or 100%CO2. Easy slag removal greatly reduces the cleaning time after welding. Features a low fume emission formula which creates a clean welding environment at any welding condition. 28 lb Plastic Spool
Features
- Flux-cored wire consists of a tube of 18/8-material filled with a granular core of flux - the flux contains both slag-forming compounds and alloying elements
- Composition of the flux is important for the welding properties obtained as well as the chemical composition and strength of the weld metal
- Allows the use of standard 0.045" FCAW equipment and processes to be effectively used on gauge material down to 16 ga
- Thinner sheath material allows for lower welding currents down to 85A to allow for better distortion control
- Capable of achieving higher productivity over conventional GMAW and GTAW processes on gauge material
