Item Details

Miller® Maxstar® 200 LX TIG Welder is a perfect solution for dirty or unreliable power and the auto-line power management technology enables you to hook-up any input voltage without any manual linking. The Lift-Arc™ starting renders x-ray clean welds in AC or DC arc starting without the need of high frequency. It is compatible with the wireless remote control to reduce the clutter as well as cord tangles in the work area thus increasing productivity. The LX model features an automation interface connector that can be connected to the output disable, weld start/stop, gas start/stop inputs, valid arc, pulse lock out and end of weld sequence outputs. It extends the welding range without any cord extensions by eliminating the cord failure as well as the repair costs. The DC TIG renders seamless and accurate arc for welding exotic materials. The Hot Start™ adaptive control provides positive arc starts without any sticking and the Blue Lightning™ high frequency arc starter delivers non-contact starts as well as greater reliability. Welder features a low OCV stick design that decreases the open-circuit voltage to 5 - 10 VDC when the power source is unused and limits the need for add-on voltage reducers. The tailored arc control permits you to change the arc characteristics for specific applications and electrodes. The Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system functions only when required, thus decreasing noise, energy use as well as the amount of contaminants pulled through the machine. Welder measuring 13 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 17 1/2" requires an input power of 115 - 460 V at 50/60 Hz and operates at 3-phase or 1-phase power. The output is rated at TIG 175 A at 17 VDC, 60% duty cycle and stick 150 A at 26 VDC, 60% duty cycle. The total cycle is rated at 200 A at 28 V at 20%. It produces an output range of 1 - 200 A and is used in air carbon arc cutting and gouging, DC TIG, pulsed TIG, stick and TIG. The welder contains two international -style connectors, a 14-pin amphenol with clamp, a 10-pin amphenol with clamp and a 5/8" 18-gas fitting. Welder is used for accurate metal fabrication, petro/chemical fabrication, food/beverage industry, dairy industry and for shipboard installation.

Features

  • Auto-Line™ Allows for any input voltage hookup (115–460 V) with no manual linking, providing convenience in any job setting. Ideal solution for dirty or unreliable power
  • Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled through the machine
  • Lift-Arc™ starting provides x-ray clean welds in AC or DC arc starting without the use of high-frequency
  • HF start provides non-contact arc starting
  • Blue Lightning™ high frequency arc starter for non-contact arc initiation. Provides more consistent arc starts and greater reliability compared to traditional HF arc starters. Easy to set and increases productivity
  • Exceptional smooth and precise arc for welding exotic materials
  • Tailored arc control (DIG) allows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Smooth running 7018, or stiffer more penetrating 6010
  • Hot Start™ adaptive control provides positive arc starts without sticking
  • Low OCV Stick is a simple design that reduces open-circuit voltage to 5-10 VDC when power source is not in use. This built-in circuit design eliminates the need for add-on voltage reduces
  • Compatible with Wireless Remote Controls. Improve productivity, eliminate clutter and cord tangles in the work area. Eliminate cord failure and associated downtime/repair costs and extend the operator's welding range without adding cord extensions
