- Designed for general purpose welding with 100% Carbon Dioxide, SPEED-ALLOY 70 is specially formulated with added deoxidizers to allow you to weld through rust, mill scale and light oil with minimal need for pre-cleaning. Primarily designed for single - or multi-pass welding in the flat and horizontal positions, SPEED-ALLOY 70 welds mild steels and low alloy steels with very light spatter and particulate fume generation.
