We developed Connex mini-warehouses that are lifted to the top of the highest structures, eliminating time-wasting trips back down to earth to get the gases and welding hardgoods to keep construction moving ahead.

When it comes to non-residential construction, wait times are unacceptable. Contractors with specialized skills are on site, ready to build and repair structures and infrastructure. At Airgas, we are ready and able around the clock to serve these customers. Our gases, used in welding, shielding, and cutting applications, are supplied through on-site bulk tanks and cylinders, with our supply chain experts managing inventory logistics. Our welding hardgoods vending machines are portable and are automated for electronic order replenishment. Our private-label Radnor® brand safety and welding products can be ordered easily and economically through multiple sales channels. And our Red-D-Arc® business delivers rental welding machines and portable power generation to on-the-move construction crews, saving purchase costs as well as product pick-up time.
Building ASUs to Strengthen Our Supply Chain
Airgas continues to expand our network of air separation units (ASUs) that produce bulk and atmospheric gases, preventing service interruptions for customers in all markets, including non-residential construction.
