1/16" E71T-1 Lincoln® Outershield® 71M Carbon Steel Cored Welding Wire 25# Plastic Spool

71M is a modified version of our Outershield 71 with improved arc stability and puddle control. It is a high penetrating single and multiple pass all position cored wire. The fast freezing slag increases out-of-position versatility and productivity. The spray type arc has virtually no spatter and the slag is easy to remove. Applications involving steels with higher levels of carbon and/or alloy content, thicker sections or greater restraint, 71M-H will exhibit greater resistance to cracking and may permit the reduction in preheat levels as compared to Outershield 71M.
