  • We recently discovered the RCRA code was incorrect on the SDS for the 3M™ TB Quat Disinfectant (SKU 7100034339). If you need to dispose of unused product/expired product, continue to dispose of the product as specified on the label and on the updated SDS (DGN 24-9443-3 version 6, effective 3/23/2022). This revised SDS applies to all unused units that are still in your possession whether opened or unopened.

  • During internal testing of certain 3M™ DBI-SALA® Delta™, ExoFit™, ExoFit™ Plus & ExoFit™ XP Cross Over Style Harness models, we found that a percentage of tested units did not meet the ANSI Z359.11, Section 3.2.2.3.1 dynamic requirement on the front (sternal) D-ring. This test and the resulting forces are not representative of what would be seen in real world application (i.e. when attached to a vertical cable sleeve with an energy absorbing device).

  • The 3M DBI-SALA® Nano-Lok™ Self Retracting Lifeline with Anchor Hook to be assembled with an unformed top swivel eye rivet. An improperly formed rivet may become displaced from the top swivel eye. An unformed rivet may result in the SRL becoming detached from the anchor hook, which could result in severe injury or death.

  • As part of 3M Fall Protections continued commitment to producing high quality safety and personal protective equipment, we conduct periodic testing of our products. Recent testing of specific DBI-SALA® Delta™ & Exofit XP™ Arc Flash harnesses have returned negative test results on some units. The Arc Flash Standard (ASTM F887) requires that all arc flash rated harnesses be subjected to an Arc Flash followed by a successful dynamic drop test. It should be noted that there is variability in Arc Flash testing of webbing based products. Although not fully understood, it can stem from several contributing factors including positioning, webbing gap to the test torso, environmental elements, arc path, input energy and other possible sources.

With the recent implementation of a new mechanical design in this model distinguished by “H96B” in the serial code, it has been discovered that this new design does not hold up to the Milwaukee name. Production will cease immediately and this model will no longer be sold. However, they will continue to produce H96A, the original design that has been on the market for years.
