The Magnum Spool Gun is a lightweight, well-balanced, hand held semiautomatic wire feeder designed primarily for aluminum welding using argon shielding gas. The feeding distance of the self-contained wire supply to the arc is only several inches, eliminating the wire feeding problems normally associated with feeding soft aluminum electrode through a conventional gun and cable assembly.
