- 3M™ H8A-S High Heat Headgear can be mounted to hard hat with the help of spring loaded metal mounting channel for advanced impact resistance over a wide range of temperatures. The crown can be reversed to facilitate backward cap mounting and the dual pivot friction can be adjusted for individual preference. The headgear is infused with aluminum which reflects heat and provides extended protection in high heat areas. The unique system of the headgear makes replacing the windows easy in seconds and it contains no snaps, bands or cams. It is used in steel mills, foundries, smelters and meets the requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2003.
