- Handle surface prep, cleaning, detailing and finishing welds when you use this Bear-Tex Rapid Prep AO medium grit non-woven standard back-up pad disc on your right angle grinder. The high-loft nylon fiber and scrim allow thick resin bond and grain, resulting in stiffness and long life, and Clean Bond resin technology keeps finishes smear-free while reducing loading on soft metals. The disc's aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating results in a cut rate that is 20 percent higher than competitive products.
