Drillco Series 480 No. 30 X 2 3/4" Black Oxide Finish General purpose Jobber Length Drill Bit with straight shank is made of high-speed steel that provides long durability when drilling hard materials. Drill bit with 1 5/8" spiral flute has a 135 deg split point that helps to penetrate hard materials without a pilot hole and forms small chips to reduce clogging. It is suitable for most general-purpose applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. It creates lubrication and small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Spiral fluted tool eliminates chips and reduces clogging. It conforms to ANSI specifications.
