Item Details
- D/F Machine Specialties® Slip-In Current Tip has 5/16" Dia and is ideal for use with Hard/Cored wire of size 0.035" (0.9 mm). High quality, high performance collet action (used with #18262 Collet Nut) current tip is made of copper that provides less down time for welding operations and 1/8" set back for proper gas coverage and arc length. It is used with a threaded style collet that ensures proper contact with electrode inner body when installed to the MIG gun. Contact tip locks in place when collet nut is twisted and offers better electrical conductivity with increased surface contact. Contact tip features thick-walled design that acts like a heat sink conducting heat away from the arc source. It can be twisted quarter turn for quick removal or rotate the tip clockwise when tip wear point is reached that reveals a new wear point for doubling the life of the tip. It is compatible with all NC, NCC, NCM guns or machine barrels, Docking Spool® models and is suitable for MIG welding applications.
