- ESAB® All-State® SmoothCote 34 1/8" Dia X 14" Maintenance Alloy Electrode comes in a 5 lb box and provides a smooth, spatter-free arc and a weld deposit with good color match to base metal. Electrode is ideal for use on aluminum sheets, plates and castings of 1/8" thickness or heavier. Electrode is suitable for repair of all common weldable aluminum alloys including cast aluminum. It is specifically useful when TIG or MIG equipment is unavailable, inconvenient or ineffective. It can be used as a bead forming or free flowing brazing alloy and used with DC. It is also used for build-up, cladding and reinforcing.
