Safety-Silv® 45 high silver solder is an excellent general-purpose alloy with good ductility, joint strength and capillary flow. It is a popular choice for brazing copper, brass, steel, and stainless steel. Safety-Silv® 45 is cadmium-free with a melting range of approximately 145°F. It provides good fillet forming qualities and is suitable for filling loose connections. Preferred base metal clearance range is .003" - .006" Color is silver to light yellow. Conforms to the EU Reach and RoHS directive. Kit includes 1/16" wire and 2 oz. bottle of Stay-Silv® White Brazing Flux.
