- Avesta Welding ER317L Stainless Steel TIG Welding Rod measuring 1/8" X 36" Dia are available with a low or high silicon content. It is used for GMA, GTA, SA, FCW and strip welding for standard and special grades of stainless steel. Avesta Welding 317L is ideal for austenitic stainless steel type 18 cry 14 Ni 3 Mo, offers good corrosion resistance to general, pitting and inter crystalline corrosion in chlorine-contaminated environments. Steel rod comes in a 10 lb tube.
