- AlcoTec AlTIGweld ER1100 5/32" Dia X 36" Aluminum TIG Welding Rod comes in a 10 lb box and features good welding characteristics to provide superior resistance against chemical attack as well as weathering. Welding rod is ideally used as a filler alloy for welding purposes and meets ANSI/AWS A5.10 ASTM B316 QQ-A-430 and AMS 4102 standards. Non-heat treatable rod can be used to obtain bright finishes by anodizing. Relatively soft welding rod is tremendously formable which can be used extensively in thin gauge and foil products. It can be used in welding filler wire heat exchangers food handling equipment rivets tie wire and metalizing applications.
