HOBART® FabCO® XTREME® 120 Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 1/16" Dia is developed for welding of offshore jack up rigs and high strength steels such as A514, A710, EQ56 and similar HSLA and QandT steels. Highly basic, flux-cored wire suitable for all position welding offers enhanced weld toughness for critical welds at low temperatures. High strength wire with good impact properties and low hydrogen levels reduces crack susceptibility. It is associated with E121T5-GC H4 class of wire and is used in single as well as multiple pass applications with 100% CO2 shielding gas. Wire comes in a vacuum-packed spool of 33 lb and is used in industries like offshore platforms as well as structural applications.
