The ITW/Miller H1400-40 is a brass fixed-flow gas adapter designed for welding operations requiring constant gas regulation. It utilizes a 0.037-inch orifice to provide a fixed flow rate of 40 SCFH when supplied with a 30 PSIG inlet pressure. The unit is designed to be installed directly into a regulator outlet or a 30 PSIG pipeline outlet to prevent tampering and reduce gas surge at the start of welding cycles.
