- Stoody® Super BUILD-UP®-O 3/32" Dia Hard Facing MIG Welding Wire comes in a 200 lb halfpak and features multiple layers that can be applied without difficulty. Welding wire is ideal for gear teeth, sprockets, steel shovel pads and overlaying carbon steel shafts. Its weldability is very good and can be applied out-of-position. It operates on DC reverse polarity by using either stringer or weave beads. It has good compressive strength, hardness and wear resistance while not intended to be used as an under base for subsequent hard facing.
