Item Details
- Stay Brite® lead-free solder is engineered to provide a strong, ductile connections on copper, brass, steel and stainless steel. The silver color is also a good color match to stainless steel. It is a eutectic filler metal with a single melting temperature. This low temperature and rapid melting characteristic promotes capillary flow and less base metal distortion and oxidation. It conforms to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for food service equipment, NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components and NSF/ANSI 372 and the US Safe Drinking Water Act amendments. Conforms to the EU RoHS directive.45 high silver solder is an excellent general-purpose alloy with good ductility, joint strength and capillary flow. It is a popular choice for brazing copper, brass, steel, and stainless steel. Safety-Silv® 45 is cadmium-free with a melting range of approximately 145°F. It provides good fillet forming qualities and is suitable for filling loose connections. Preferred base metal clearance range is .003" - .006" Color is silver to light yellow. Conforms to the EU Reach and RoHS directive. Kit includes 3/64" wire and 1/2 oz. bottle of Stay-Clean® Brazing Flux.
