  • HOBART® FabCO® HORNET Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 1/16" Dia provides excellent impact strength at low temperatures. Rutile-type, flux-cored wire suitable for all position welding withstands cracking in severe applications and gives low fume generation rate. Wire with fast freezing slag enhances operator appeal while improving the working environment and gives low spatter levels. It offers high penetration profiles and helps to reduce clean-up time and the risk of inclusions. It is associated with E71T-1C H8, E71T-1M H8, E71T-9C H8, E71T-9M H8 class of wires and is used in single as well as multiple pass applications with CO2 and or argon/CO2 gas shielding. Wire comes in a spool of 33 lb and is used in structural steel, general fabrication as well as heavy equipment industries. This wire has to be stored in a dry, enclosed environment and in its original intact packaging.
