- Mathey Dearman™ Mechanical Flange Spreader of size 2" - 12" greatly reduces the risk of damage to the flange face. Spreader is used to gently separate flanges for the replacement of the flange gasket or to reapply sealant on the flange face. It eliminates the need for wedges or hammers and the wedge action spreads the gap between flanges up to 1 1/4" and 100 ft-lb of torque applied to the flange spreader yield up to 12000 lb of spreading force.
