Construction sites, steel mills, foundries, manufacturers and scrap yards can now utilize the benefits of oxy-acetylene without the dangers typically associated with highly flammable gases.
FLAMAL Oxy and FLAMAL Acet are designed for the following applications:
Yes.
Though oxy-acetylene has many benefits, its use carries risk. Common risks include fire and explosion from the use of unstable gases, flashback and burns, as well as health hazards from inhaling toxic fumes and eye damage from UV radiation.
Acetylene is an extremely unstable gas. It is highly sensitive to heat and shock, and can decompose violently under pressure above 15 psi.
Fire, explosion and flashback are mitigated with features such as a built-in regulator, on/off lever, integrated flashback arrestor, protected valves, and a permanent, ergonomic, shock-absorbing cap.
