Tie Down’s Hatch Mate is the first roof hatch system designed for universal mounting on either side of interior fixed ladders, requiring only six fasteners for attachment. Shipped fully assembled, it features an innovative chain and actuation pulley system that can be shortened or lengthened for roof heights up to 28 ft. Operating the pulley requires just a few pulls on the chain to unlock and open the upper roof hatch, and a few pulls on the opposite side to close it. Permanent closure is achieved by placing the chain into the lock mounting bracket and securing it with a standard lock and key. Crafted from aluminum and steel, the Hatch Mate is engineered to withstand rooftop conditions while providing reliable and easy operation.
