Item Details

These regulators have been designed, constructed, and tested specifically for fluorine service. Since fluorine is a highly reactive element and a strong oxidizer, it is necessary to take special care in the design and construction of fluorine handling equipment. These regulators feature a specially designed, bronze-filled PTFE seat, encased in a Monel housing. This significantly reduces non-metallic exposure to the wetted stream, thus reducing the risk of ignition. All wetted parts are constructed of Monel metal, Iconel®, or bronze-filled PTFE materials and are protected by a 10-micron, sintered Monel filter. The regulator is degreased, passivated, and ready for immediate use in fluorine service.
