This regulator has been scientifically proven to maintain gas purity better than other regulators. Low internal volume and reduced surface area allows for impurities to travel through the device and not build-up. The NANO series regulator is available in single and two-stage pressure control with an internal volume of only 3.03cc and 8.6 cc respectively. The NANO regulator’s superior design and quality stainless steel construction does not allow the introduction of outside contaminants, ensuring continual gas quality and accurate analytical measurement. As you can see on the graph, this design of regulator performed on a pedestal far better than several commercially available analytical regulators.
Airgas conducted a study to compare regulator design by introducing a known impurity gas stream and measuring the time to purge the contaminant. The AlphaGaz NANO regulator was able to purge completely within approximately 140 minutes. That is twice as fast as all other regulators in the study. Its ability to allow impurities such as water and oxygen to pass through the internal mechanics of the regulator made it a clear choice for AlphaGaz NANO.
