Item Details
UOP D-201 spherical activated alumina adsorbent is designed to remove water from a variety of process streams. *Airgas repackages and markets Activated Aluminas manufactured by Honeywell UOP. This product is a 135 kg drum of D201 3 x 6 Spheres that is non returnable
Features
Optimized pore size distribution leading to higher capacity.
High degree of macro-porosity for rapid adsorption and short mass transfer zone.
High surface area substrate extends bed life.
High abrasion resistance to minimize bead breakdown.
Regenerate adsorbent without heat.
Bulk Density (lb/ft³) - 42
(kg/m³) - 672
Crush Strength (lbs) - 25
(N) - 111
Applications
D-201 activated alumina is specifically designed as a high-capacity, abrasion-resistant desiccant.
Its excellent adsorption and desorption characteristics make it especially suitable for heatless (pressure swing) adsorption applications, such as dehydration and cryogenic air purification.
If heat is available, D-201 adsorbent can be regenerated by purging or evacuation at elevated temperatures
