Triangular tapered abrasive file holds its shape while imparting the finest, uniform finish on precision machine parts and in tool and die making. Stones, manufactured with aluminum oxide abrasive, are preferred for imparting durable, smooth-cutting edges and for close tolerances. Triangular file is used in a variety of applications including cleaning tap threads, stoning cutting surfaces of milling cutters, lapping honing tools, dies and molds and putting precision points on center punches.
