Norton® 38A 5" Dia X 1 3/4" Type 11 Flaring Cup Aluminum Oxide Vitrified Tool and Cutter Grinding Wheel with 1 1/4" arbor features 60 grit and medium J grade hardness. Friable white wheel is porous and rotates at a speed of 4585 RPM. It is commonly used on ferrous alloys, high-tensile materials and wood. It is tough, economical and fracture-resistant with a face/rim width of 1/4" and hub Dia of 3 3/4". Wheel provides consistent quality and superior balance as well as dimensional accuracy every time. It provides cool and burn-free cutting making it ideal for heat-sensitive applications with light to moderate feed rates.
