The Type 05 recessed one side wheel has a sharp monocrystalline aluminum oxide grain, perfect for grinding tool steels, irons, aluminum, 400 stainless steel and vanadium alloy steels. With a vitrified bond, the wheel needs minimal dressing and grinds fast and cool. The wheel is recommended for cylindrical grinders and surface grinders.
