Norton® SG 12" Dia X 1 1/2" Type 01 Vitrified Bond Ceramic Alumina Straight Grinding Wheel with 5" Arbor features 46 grit and coarse grade hardness. Blue color wheel with 2070 RPM can be used on iron, high speed steel and tool steels RC 50 to 68, 300 and 400 series stainless steels, soft steels RC 30 to 45, series 5SG. It provides high productivity and low grinding cost. It has double rough stock removal rate against conventional abrasives. Wheel made of ceramic aluminum oxide is self-sharpening abrasive and provides high performance VS and VSP bonds It is a long life and very consistent performing wheels.
