- Finish and polish a variety of surfaces with the Merit A/O coarse grit TP (Type I) non-woven quick-change buffing discs. Featuring an aluminum oxide grain and resin bond combination that produces a smear-free uniform finish, these discs have a smooth cut rate, and the tough backing resists tearing on burrs and sharp edges, reducing waste and downtime. These discs are designed to quickly remove light rust, oxidation, and coatings without harming the base product and can be used on a variety of materials, including steels, soft metals, iron, fiberglass, composites, and super alloys.
