- Lenox® VB12 Vari-Bit® 7/8 - 1 3/8" Steam Oxide Step Drill Bit with 3/8" three-flat shank features a high-speed steel construction to drill hard materials. Drill bit with patented two flute design cuts holes fast and clean and removes chips rapidly. Bit has the capacity to cut stainless steel up to 1/8" thick. It is equipped with split point design for faster penetration and less walking and eliminates the problem of tip breakage on standard drill bits.
