Drillco Series 1100C 1/4" Dia X 6" Bronze Finish Aircraft Extension Drill Bit with straight shank is made of high-speed steel that provides extended tool life when drilling hard materials. Drill bit 2 3/4" spiral flute has 135 deg split point that helps to penetrate hard material without a pilot hole and produces small chips to reduce clogging. It is designed for drilling high-tensile strength alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium and other difficult to machine materials. Cobalt steel offers improved performance when cutting harder metals such as stainless steel or nickel alloys. Spiral fluted tool eliminates chips and reduces clogging. It features heavy-duty construction for portable or machine drilling in high tensile strength alloy steels, stainless steels, titanium and other difficult to machine materials. It provides wear resistance and can be used for wide variety of tool holding systems. It is sold as 6 per pack.
