Drill bit with straight shank, 1/2" spiral flute has 118 deg conventional point ideal for most general-purpose applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. It adds lubrication and creates small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Spiral fluted tool eliminates chips and reduces clogging. It reduces wear while promoting chip and coolant flow and can be used with a wide variety of tool holding systems.
