- Weiler® Dualife™ 8" X 0.016" Carbon Steel Two Section Standard Twist Knot Wire Wheel Brush with 2" arbor hole features a double row of knotted wire for a wider brush face and rotates at 6000 RPM. Carbon steel wire brush with 1 5/8" trim length is intended for use on straight grinders and stationary machines such as bench or pedestal grinders. Knot wire wheel brush is made with two sections that provides heavy-duty brushing action with some flexibility. It cleans surfaces in the same manner as sand blasting. Due to its high rotating speed, it separates surface contaminants from base material during which it does not remove any base material. Unlike non-woven, bonded and coated abrasives, wire brushes will not load when brushing soft materials or when used to remove paint and similar coatings. Application area includes tube end deburring, roughening surfaces, surface preparation and cleaning, removing rubber coatings.
