It is ideal for light to moderate indoor and outdoor weather-protected conditions, with a temperature range of 19 °F (-7 °C) to 194 °F (90 °C) per CSA-C22.2 No. 197 standards. Made from durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC), this tape is both flame-retardant and cold-weather resistant, providing mechanical protection without adding unnecessary bulk. Thanks to its robust formulation, the tape can help reduce moisture ingress when used as an overwrap in combination with a rubber splicing or mastic tape product.
