- ESAB® AtomArc® E8018-B8 H4R 8018-B8 Low Alloy Steel Electrode with 3/32" Dia is designed to weld 9% Cr - 1% Mo creep resisting steels such as ASTM A213-T and A335-P9. Low hydrogen electrode features good deposition rates and travel speeds. Preheat should be used on hardenable steels to avoid the formation of a hard heat-affected zone. Steels used in pressure vessels and piping for high temperature service. Preheat may also be need in welding heavy sections. Electrode comes in a hermetically sealed container of 10 lb.
