- ESAB® AtomArc® E8018-B6H4R 8018-B610LB Low Alloy Steel Stick Electrode of 5/32" Dia is used in all welding applications and is structured to weld 5% Cr -0.5% Mo creep resisting steels such as ASTM A387 Grade 5, A213-T5 and A335-P5. Electrode measuring 14" features steels that are normally used in pressure vessels and piping for high temperature service and comes in a hermetically sealed can.
Features
- The recommended preheat temperature for 5 CrMo steels is 400-500° F depending on thickness
- Post weld heat treatment is generally required
