Castolin Eutectic® EutecTrode® 6800 is a high nickel alloy electrode designed for buildup, coating, and joining nickel and steel alloys. It has reduced sensitivity to electrode overheating and produces deposits that are hard and tough, making them resistant to wear and heat-impact conditions. EutecTrode® 6800 provide exceptional heat resistance to weld-repaired parts. The deposits are extremely uniform in appearance and fully machinable to a high finish, offering a good color match to nickel. These deposits are tough and hard, with their hardness increasing during service. They resist impact, heat, and corrosion, maintaining their qualities under elevated temperatures and rapid temperature changes.
