- Harris® 5/32" Dia X 36" Silicon Bronze Copper Alloy TIG Welding Rod comes in 10 lb tube and is commonly used in used in GTAW brass welding of coated sheet steels. TIG welding rod is ideal to weld similar composition base metals, brass and copper alloys to steel. Wire with a tensile strength of 50000 psi meets ANSI/AWS A 5.7, ASME SFA-5.7 and ERCuSi-A standards.
