The primary use of Arcos 392 is for cladding steel with nickel- chromium-iron weld metal and for joining steel and stainless steel to nickel-base alloys. Weld deposits can be age-hardened with the degree of hardness depending on the time and temperature.
Applications
Arcos 392 is well suited for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance from cryogenic to elevated temperatures (up to 1,800˚F). Typical examples include power generation and petrochemical plants and furnace equipment.
